Pricing — both transparent, different sweet spots
Keka publishes pricing openly: Foundation at $4/user/month (basic HR + attendance), Strength $6 (+ payroll), Growth $9 (+ performance + hiring). For 50 users on Strength, that is $3,600/year.
AttendUX is graduated: Lite $360/yr through Max $2,820/yr (international). For 50-person Egyptian business: ~18,500 EGP/year (~$400) — nearly 10× cheaper than Keka Strength for same employee count.
Keka wins on breadth-per-dollar if you need performance + hiring in the same stack. AttendUX wins on cost-per-MENA-compliance-feature — the WPS/GOSI/MOHRE/ZKTeco features that Keka doesn't have natively would cost extra consulting.
MENA labor-law compliance — AttendUX native, Keka evolving
Keka is actively expanding in the Gulf but their payroll engine was built for Indian labor law + global generic scenarios. Egyptian Labor Law 14/2025, UAE MOHRE WPS SIF spec, Saudi Mudad + GOSI brackets, Nitaqat Saudization tracking — these are being added but still require customization for most Gulf customers today.
AttendUX ships these pre-configured. The engine was built around Egyptian + Gulf scenarios first; global scenarios came later. For MENA-primary businesses, this changes setup time from 1-3 weeks (Keka + Gulf consultant) to instant (AttendUX).
Where Keka actually wins — talent management depth
Keka has a legitimately strong performance management stack: 360° reviews, OKR tracking with cascading objectives, PIPs (Performance Improvement Plans), 1:1 meeting notes, calibration meetings. Their ATS (applicant tracking system) is also comprehensive — job boards integration, interview scheduling, offer management.
AttendUX focuses on HR core + attendance + payroll + MENA compliance. Performance management is light (shift ratings, absenteeism trending). ATS is not offered.
If hire-to-retire workflows + OKR + 360 reviews are core to your HR strategy, Keka has the depth. If you want attendance-and-payroll-correct-first and can handle performance in a separate tool (Lattice, 15Five, or spreadsheets), AttendUX is sharper.
Language + support speed — Arabic-first vs English-first
Keka's Arabic UI is beta — some labels remain English, right-to-left (RTL) layout has quirks on certain screens, and support responses are typically English even for Arabic tickets. Fine for English-fluent HR teams.
AttendUX's Arabic UI is native (built by Arabic-speaking engineers + translators, not auto-translated). Both Egyptian colloquial Arabic (for Egyptian/Levantine customers) and MSA (for Gulf customers) are first-class. WhatsApp support in Arabic responds within 2-6 hours typically. If your HR team runs operations in Arabic, AttendUX is the easier fit.
