Saudi WPS + GOSI Export — Mudad-ready in one click

Since Mudad went live in 2020, every Saudi employer must submit salary data to the Ministry of Human Resources through one of the agent-banks on the Mudad network — AND contribute monthly to GOSI on top. Miss either and work-permit renewals freeze overnight. AttendUX generates the Mudad SIF from your payroll in seconds, computes GOSI contributions per the current brackets (updated with every ZATCA revision), and ships the bank-upload-ready file + GOSI report. No separate Mudad portal entry. No hand-calculating the 11.75% / 9% split.

Why integrate WPS Saudi (GOSI + Mudad) with AttendUX

Mudad-exact SIF format

Fixed-width records per the latest Mudad specification. Employer prefix, Saudi-specific payment-category codes, correct date formats (Hijri + Gregorian), all generated to the byte.

GOSI auto-brackets

11.75% employer + 9% employee for Saudis, flat 2% for expats, capped at 45,000 SAR basic. AttendUX applies the correct bracket per employee per month and generates the GOSI remittance report alongside the SIF.

Nitaqat tracking

Live Saudization percentage per branch, updated as you hire/terminate. Alerts when you drop below your Nitaqat band (Green / Platinum / Yellow / Red) — before the ministry notices.

Every Saudi agent bank

Al Rajhi (Al Rajhi Business), SNB (SAB Business), Riyad Bank, Saudi Awwal Bank (SABB), Alinma, BSF, Albilad, Bank AlJazira, Gulf International Bank, STC Pay (digital wallet integration).

Mid-month corrections

Bonus added after payroll? New hire mid-month? AttendUX re-generates Mudad SIF + GOSI delta — submits only the delta, not a full re-run, so the ministry record stays clean.

Hijri + Gregorian payroll

Full Hijri calendar support for leave balances, end-of-service calc, probation periods. Payroll runs on your choice of calendar — reports include both dates so your CFO + MHRSD both see what they need.

How it works

Typical setup takes under 10 minutes.

1

Register with Mudad

If you have not already — go to mudad.com.sa, register your CR number, nominate your agent bank. Receive your employer prefix code.

2

Enable the Saudi WPS module

In AttendUX admin → Payroll → WPS Settings → toggle Saudi Arabia on. Enter your Mudad employer prefix + agent bank + GOSI establishment number.

3

Map employees to GOSI brackets

For each employee: nationality (Saudi vs expat determines GOSI rate), basic salary, IBAN, Iqama/National ID, Nitaqat role. AttendUX validates all fields.

4

Run payroll + export

Generate the monthly payroll. Click "Export Mudad SIF + GOSI Report". Two files download: WPS SIF for bank upload + GOSI remittance report.

5

Upload to agent bank + GOSI

Upload SIF to your agent bank portal (Al Rajhi Business, SNB Direct, etc). Submit GOSI report via GOSI portal. The bank forwards salary data to MHRSD automatically.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Mudad and when is it mandatory?

Mudad is the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources + Social Development digital platform that enforces WPS. Mandatory for all private-sector employers with any Saudi + expat workforce since 2020. Non-compliance freezes work-permit renewals + MHRSD services until resolved.

How is GOSI different from WPS?

GOSI (General Organization for Social Insurance) is the social-security contribution system — 11.75% employer + 9% employee for Saudis, 2% employer for expats on occupational-hazard only. WPS/Mudad is the salary-transfer mechanism. Both are mandatory + both run monthly. AttendUX handles both in one payroll cycle.

What if an employee is on an iqama vs a Saudi ID?

The employee type controls both the WPS payment category + GOSI bracket. Iqama holders pay 2% GOSI (occupational hazard only), Saudis pay 9%. AttendUX reads each employee record and applies the correct rate per month.

Does AttendUX support Nitaqat tracking?

Yes. Live Saudization percentage per branch + overall, color-coded by Nitaqat band (Platinum / Green / Yellow / Red). Alerts fire when you drop below the required threshold for your business sector so you can hire a Saudi before MHRSD suspends your file.

How often is the Mudad SIF format updated?

Mudad revises specifications approximately every 12-18 months. We track changes via our MHRSD subscription + ship free format updates automatically. Last major revision: June 2024, next expected 2026.
